The 2024 Bangkok Students Football Tournament “GOVERNOR CUP 2024” on Thursday, November 21, 2024 at the Bangkok Youth Center. Thailand-Japan is the final match of Group B.
The first pair, Pathumkongka School, with 3 points, still having to hope to advance to the next round, met Debsirin School, with 6 points, already advancing to the next round. The result of the competition was that Debsirin narrowly won 2-1 with goals from Thanwa Hongwiangchan in the 15th minute. Patipat Chanhom in the 94th minute and Pathumkongka from Teerawat Petchrak in the 23rd minute. This allowed Debsirin to collect 3 victories in a row. With 9 points, advancing to the semi-finals as number 1 of Group B.
The second pair, Surasakmontri School. Which has no points yet, met Bangkok Christian College. Which has 3 points. The result of the competition was Surasakmontri who narrowly won 1-0 from a penalty kick by Kritsanapong Na Lampang in the 23rd minute. As a result, Pathumkongka, Bangkok Christian, and Surasakmontri have 3 points each. But Pathumkongka has the best goal difference. Causing them to finish in 2nd place in Group B and successfully advance to the semi-finals.
The semi-finals will be between Bangkok Sports School (1st place, Group A) and Pathumkongka School (2nd place, Group B). And Thepsirin School (1st place, Group B) and Wat Suthiwararam School (2nd place, Group A).
